The purpose of this class is to help students to feel comfortable in the water without the presence of the parent. Students continue to learn elementary water skills and safety tips that will stay with them throughout the swim lesson levels. Sophie the Safety Seal's Water Smart rules are enforced for increased water safety.

The Beginner class builds on elementary water skills previously learned and teaches students the skills needed to complete a 25-yard swim for each of the following: elementary backstroke, front crawl, and backstroke. All elementary water skills are reinforced so that they become second nature to the students. All water safety rules are discussed as well. 

Join El Paso Water Parks for an accredited Community CPR + AED Training open to the general community. This 3-hour, hands-on course provides national certification and Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for those seeking professional credentials or simply wanting to learn lifesaving skills.

This program follows the latest American Heart Association CPR & ECC Guidelines and the standards established by the International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR). Participants will learn Adult, Child, and Infant CPR, AED operation, and emergency care practices related to airway obstruction, heart attack, and stroke response.

Training includes realistic drills and manikin practice to build confidence and ensure performance-based competency.

Upon successful completion, participants will receive a digital course evaluation form. After submission, official E&A Safety & Health course completion cards and CEU certificates will be made available for download and printing.

Certification is valid for 2 years from the date of the course.
